VIDEO: Remembering LeBron James' Incredible 25-point NBA Debut 17 Years Ago Today

Most years, the NBA season would be kicking off right around now, instead of having just ended. That means late October brings us some fun memories.
On October 29th, we get to throw it back to 2003, when an 18-year-old LeBron James made his NBA debut.
LeBron carried an almost unfathomable amount of hype into this debut, being heralded as the next Michael Jordan before he had ever stepped on an NBA court. ESPN was even broadcasting his high school games.
In what has proven to be a trend through his career, that pressure didn't get to him. The King played nearly the entire game (42 minutes 50 seconds), knocked down 12 of his 20 field goal attempts and finished with 25 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals with just 3 turnovers.
And of course, that terrific game was just a small glimpse of what was to come. LeBron would go on to become the Cleveland Cavaliers' franchise leader in just about every major stat, lead them to their first ever NBA championship and establish himself as arguably the greatest NBA player of all time.
October 29th is a date that Cleveland sports fans will never forget.
