Conflicting Reports Emerge on Urban Meyer's NFL Future

Collegiate coaching legend Urban Meyer was expected to pursue an NFL head-coaching job this offseason, with the Jacksonville Jagurs emerging as early frontrunners to land the three-time national champion. However, Meyer's talks with the Jaguars have seemingly stalled, and it's unclear if he'll pursue that job or any other opening.
There have been conflicting reports about Meyer's decision to jump to the NFL, with little clarity on how close he is to agreeing to a deal with the Jaguars.

But come Wednesday morning, the story reverted back to the familiar territory of Meyer still needing time to make up his mind.

It appears no one quite knows where Meyer's head is at, which isn't an encouraging sign for teams hoping to sway the coach out of retirement.
Meyer has already outlined his contract demands and potential coaching staff, so the Jaguars or any other potential suitor already know what they're getting themselves into. Now it's up to Meyer to decide if he wants to jump to the NFL or enjoy his retirement from coaching a little while longer.
