The 2022 NFL Draft was unprecedented in the fact that only one quarterback was taken within the first 70 overall picks. Malik Willis was widely expected to be a first-round selection, but ended up falling all the way to the third round before being drafted by the Tennessee Titans at No. 86 overall.

While Willis may not be in line to start during the 2022 season, he has an opportunity to learn behind a veteran starter and adjust to an NFL style of play. That's certainly not a bad situation to be in as an incoming rookie. With that being said, here's a look at the Titans' updated QB depth chart for 2022.

Titans QB Depth Chart 2022

1. Ryan Tannehill

Ryan Tannehill has a firm grip on the starting job in Tennessee after leading the Titans to three straight playoff berths. The 33-year-old showed off his efficiency by completing 67.2% of his pass attempts in 2021 for 3,734 yards and 21 touchdowns. Improving on his turnover issues from last season would go a long way in Tannehill's goal of finally getting over the hump and into the Super Bowl.

2. Malik Willis

It was a unique journey for Malik Willis in college after he decided to leave Auburn following the arrival of Bo Nix. The 22-year-old was able to revitalize his career with the Liberty Flames and his dual-threat capabilities were on full display this past fall. Willis posted 2,857 passing yards to go along with 878 rushing yards and accounted for 40 total touchdowns (13 games). Keep in mind Tannehill is on the final year of his current contract, so the idea of Willis starting in 2023 is not too farfetched.

3. Logan Woodside

The only other quarterback currently under contract with the Titans is Logan Woodside. Woodside has spent the last two seasons acting as Tannehill's backup and has seen very little playing time. In fact, he has really only seen the field when taking knees to run out the clock at the end of games. Don't be surprised if the Titans bring in another QB to motivate Woodside in training camp.
