Opening Day is now a little under two months away, which means it's time to begin prepping for your 2021 fantasy baseball drafts.

Here at The Duel we'll have you covered every step of the way, and that begins with the first step of draft prep — identifying this year's top fantasy baseball assets. You can check out our top-100 fantasy baseball player rankings here, as well as our top-20 team names.

With that in mind, here are the top-10 fantasy baseball starting pitchers for the 2021 MLB season.

Fantasy Baseball SP Rankings 2021

10. Luis Castillo, Cincinnati Reds

9. Aaron Nola, Philadelphia Phillies

8. Max Scherzer, Washington Nationals

7. Lucas Giolito, Chicago White Sox

6. Yu Darvish, San Diego Padres

The 2020 campaign couldn't have gone much better for Yu Darvish. The veteran had one of the most notable seasons in his eight-year career, appearing in 12 games, tying for the major league lead in wins with 8, and posting an ERA of just 2.01 (fourth in the NL). Now he'll lead the San Diego Padres' rotation, but there's no reason to believe he won't be among the best pitches in the league once again this year.

5. Walker Buehler, Los Angeles Dodgers

4. Trevor Bauer, Los Angeles Dodgers

Another big name making a move to a new team, reigning NL Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer is headed to an already stacked LA Dodgers rotation. Bauer registered 9 starts in 2020, earning 5 wins while tossing 2 complete games and owning an NL-best 1.73 ERA. Only two pitchers racked up more strikeouts than Bauer last season, and he's primed for another big year. Plus, the change in scenery should help him pick up more wins in 2021.

3. Shane Bieber, Cleveland Indians

2. Gerrit Cole, New York Yankees

1. Jacob deGrom, New York Mets

New York Mets ace Jacob deGrom remains of the league's top talents, coming off of a third-place finish for the NL Cy Young in 2020. He totaled 12 starts, earning 4 wins and racking up an NL-best 104 strikeouts last season. His 2.38 ERA in 2020 was near the tops of the league, and the Mets' offseason addition of two-time Gold Glove winner Francisco Lindor should hopefully help keep that number down in 2021.
