No longer a New England Patriot, there was some hope that Tom Brady was going to dish some interesting gossip in his first ever appearance on "The Howard Stern Show" on Wednesday. There were no crazy revelations or shots at Bill Belichick, but there was a detail that Las Vegas Raiders fans may find interesting.

There have been rumors all offseason that Derek Carr may not be the quarterback of the future in Vegas, and the team was rumored to be near the front of the pack in courting Brady in free agency, so this news comes as a bit of surprise.

It's not like the Raiders didn't make any moves at quarterback either, signing Marcus Mariota to a two-year deal worth nearly $18 million. It just seems like the Raiders didn't have much interest in paying big money for a year or two of Brady's services.

The lack of interest in Brady may frustrate some optimistic Raiders fans, but 2020 is likely going to be a rebuilding year in Vegas, and a 43-year-old quarterback wouldn't exactly be a valuable fit.
