Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill suffered an ankle injury in the team's Week 15 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Tannehill was eventually replaced my rookie Malik Willis.
Now, as the Titans look forward toward their Week 16 game, Tannehill looks like he's doubtful to play. In light of Tannehill's doubtful status, the Titans are signing veteran quarterback Josh Dobbs off the Lions practice squad.
Willis is expected to get the start.
The Titans sit at 7-7 on the season, and are still fighting for the AFC South title. Luckily, in Week 16, they draw the easiest divisional matchup they can against the Houston Texans at home in Nashville.
If Tannehill is inactive, we can expect Dobbs to be the backup for the week. The Titans are 4-point home favorites in Week 16 against the Texans, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
