The Raiders Need to Draft CeeDee Lamb
By Max Staley

Armed with multiple first-round picks for the second time in as many seasons, the Raiders appear poised to start their tenure in Las Vegas with a splash. One of the team's biggest needs comes in at receiver, as the team has never managed to fill the void left by the departures of Amari Cooper and Antonio Brown.
In fact, no Raiders' WR had more than 651 receiving yards last season. Thankfully for the organization, though, this year's class is flush with talent at the position. Even with all that talent, there is no better fit at WR for Las Vegas than Oklahoma wideout CeeDee Lamb.

At first glance, Lamb doesn't look like your prototypical WR1. He doesn't have plus size (6'2", 198 pounds) and he isn't really a burner either, posting a 4.50 40-yard dash at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine.
He does have rare ball skills, though, and he's a monster with the ball in his hands. He's also arguably the most productive receiver in the class, racking up 3,292 receiving yards and 33 total touchdowns as a three-year starter with the Sooners.

Jerry Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb? ?@TheDuelSports https://t.co/4BSClIiWdw
Lamb can make plays all over the field, and he'd be a much better fit alongside Tyrell Williams than someone like Henry Ruggs III, as both players are burners who do their best work downfield. Lamb is more than capable of contributing on deep routes also, it's just that he's a more well-rounded WR than the other two.
If he's on the board at No. 12, the Raiders should rush to the podium to select the Oklahoma product.
