The Houston Texans made headlines at the beginning of NFL Free Agency with their blockbuster trade, but they have yet to make many waves with the free agents they have acquired. A move to bolster their defensive line by signing Ndamukong Suh would buzz-worthy move.

The biggest free agent that Houston has lost this offseason is defensive tackle D.J. Reader. The 26-year-old talent has been a force on the inside for the Texans. Last season, he totaled 52 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 6 tackles for a loss (TFL) and 13 quarterback hits. His departure leaves a giant hole on the interior of their defense.

This is where signing Suh could make an impact. Suh is coming off arguably the worst season of his career, where he totaled 41 tackles, 7 TFL, 2.5 sacks and 14 quarterback hits. The 33-year-old, three-time All-Pro is not getting any younger, but he is likely to come in on a relatively team-friendly deal, which could be worth it to see if he can return to form.

Signing with Houston would make it Suh's fourth team in four seasons, after playing his first five seasons in Detroit. He was the third-most valuable player at his position from 2012-18, according to Pro Football Focus, and the Texans would be wise to try and get him to Houston.
