Johnson recorded an astounding 48-inch vertical, setting the new combine record in that area. He topped Kansas' Kenny Gregory, who previously held the record with a 45.5-inch leap in 2001.
Standing at 6-foot-5, Johnson's vertical showcased how bouncy the guard the really is. His stock was already high after an impressive season for the Volunteers where he averaged 17.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per 40 minutes.
But the likely top-10 pick now has the potential to jump up draft boards given the modern NBA's appetite for athleticism.
