When it comes to the Stanley Cup Finals, a 2-2 series tie and 3-1 deficit seem to carry all the difference in the world through four games.

After a devastating Game 3 blowout, the St. Louis Blues rebounded to grind out a 4-2 Game 4 win over the Boston Bruins. With the series now tied 2-2, the odds to win the Stanley Cup have narrowed, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Back home in Boston for Game 5, the Bruins are favorites to regain the series lead (-160) and win the entire Stanley Cup (-156). After a loss this postseason, they are averaging 1.83 first-period goals per game, with an average differential of 1.17.

If the Blues can continue the momentum they've already found at TD Garden and steal the victory, they would have a chance to win their first Stanley Cup and do it on their home ice. While Boston has been the team known to respond after losses this postseason, it was St. Louis that jumped out to a 2-1 lead after the first period in Game 4.

The Blues will likely have to do the same in Game 5 to prevent Boston from stealing the momentum and getting the crowd behind the Bruins early on.

If the Blues can do this, they should have a fighting chance to pull off the upset as +135 underdogs, which could even make them the new favorites to win the Cup with a potential 3-2 series lead.
