Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer enjoyed a fantastic campaign in his third MLB season. The 25-year-old stepped into a true No. 1 role for Kansas City, posting a 3.23 ERA across 24 starts.
On Friday, he made an exciting announcement regarding the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
Singer has revealed that he intends to pitch for Team USA in the WBC for the first time. The 2023 World Baseball Classic runs from March 8-21 with various sites in Taiwan, Japan, Arizona and Florida. The elimination rounds are played in Tokyo and Miami before the semifinals and championship rounds occur in Miami.
Singer joins a list of other notable pitchers for Team USA, including Logan Webb, Nestor Cortes, Adam Wainwright, Merrill Kelly and Devin Williams.
