The New Orleans Saints (12-4) host division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers (12-5) on Sunday, Jan. 17 in the NFL playoffs divisional round. Kickoff is at 4:35 p.m. ET on FOX.
The NFL Playoff odds show the Saints as a 2.5-point favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook and the over/under of 53 points. The moneyline is Saints -138 and Bucs +118.
While most bets are on the spread, total or moneyline, you can get a little more creative with your wagering this weekend. There are many NFL prop bets available on FanDuel Sportsbook and TE Rob Gronkowski. Here are three of the best prop bets for Gronk.
1. Receiving Yards: Under 29.5 (-110)
Rob Gronkowski only had 2 catches in each game against the Saints this season for just 2 and 11 yards in those two losses. He did not catch a pass in the Bucs opening playoff win at Washington. This prop number has been bet down, but the Saints defense is still going to make it tough for Gronk to go over.
2. Longest Reception: Under 15.5 Yards (-120)
If you bet Under 29.5 yards, then you should bet this prop also. The Saints defense is the best remaining in the playoffs allowing 20.4 points per game, and just 306 yards per game at 5.0. yards per play. New Orleans ranked top 3 in qiarterack pressure rate, hurries and disruption rate. The Saints ball hawkers also tied for the league lead with 18 interceptions. Gronk is not a receiver you can count on for a down the field catch against the Saints
3. Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Rob Gronkowski (+210)
Gronkowski has slowed down, but he's still a favorite target of QB Tom Brady. Gronk was third on the Bucs in receptions (45) and yards (623). He's a primary target in the red zone with 7 touchdowns this season. These odds are not true, but if Gronk does get some catches, it's likely in the red zone.
