The Pittsburgh Pirates have a bright future despite finishing with the fourth-worst record in baseball this season. Outfielder Bryan Reynolds is coming off of a career year, Ke'Bryan Hayes hasn't even scratched the surface of his potential yet, and the team boasts one of the best farm systems in the majors.

That hasn't stopped outside suitors from swirling around one of Pittsburgh's top young talents.

Bryan Reynolds Trade

Reynolds' All-Star campaign has resulted in "significant" trade interest this offseason, per Jon Morosi. The New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners are specifically mentioned among those pursuing the 26-year-old.

This is nothing new. Teams always want to pry a rising talent from a team at the bottom of the standings, but there's no reason for the Pirates to give in with Reynolds not set to hit free agency until 2026.

Reynolds broke out in a huge way this season. He earned his first All-Star nod and racked up 24 home runs, 90 RBI and a league-leading 8 triples on the year. He also slashed .302/.390/.522.

The stud outfielder will hopefully be part of Pittsburgh's long-term plans and help the Pirates return to contention in the NL Central.
