Phillies' Missing Retro Jersey Crisis Finally Gets Resolved

The start to the 2022 MLB season has been less than ideal for the Philadelphia Phillies. Not only are they 8-10 as May approaches, but they've also been without two of their jersey choices due to distribution and manufacturing issues.

Fans who've been dismayed at the absence of the retro powder blue threads are in for some great news.

Phillies beat writer Todd Zolecki report Wednesday that the team's retro uniforms have arrived. Even better, they're wasting no time by suiting up in them for Throwback Night, a season-long tradition where every Thursday home game at Citizen Bank Field will turn into an 80s-themed celebration.

Though Philadelphia is still waiting on its cream-colored unis to come in, this is still very exciting news to get one more jersey in the rotation.

Maybe the boost to the Phillies' fashion game will end up helping them on the diamond, too, heading into the second month of the season.
