This is an important offseason for the Cleveland Browns. This team is right on the verge of being a real Super Bowl contender. With the right upgrades, particularly on defense, we could see the Dawg Pound playing into late January for the first time in quite a while.

Thankfully for Brown fans, ProFootballFocus has the Browns making a great pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, projecting they will select Penn State's Jayson Oweh at No. 26 overall.

Jayson Oweh Browns

This year's crop of EDGE rushers lacks the big-name stars that we've seen at the top recently. There's probably not a Chase Young or Nick Bosa available in 2021. But it's not hard to envision a team convincing itself that Oweh could be that type of player.

He's a special athlete. Oweh is a 6-foot-5, 250-pound DE with rare physical gifts. Though he struggled to put it all together at times, the Penn State product finally delivered with a stellar campaign in 2020. PFF gave him an overall grade of 85.3 last year, topping his past two grades of 74.6 and 67.8, respectively.

Put him opposite of Myles Garrett and Cleveland would arguably have the most athletic EDGE duo in the league. It's a spot the Browns could really stand to upgrade, too, as Olivier Vernon is likely walking in free agency.

There's no such thing as having too many physical freaks on the defensive line, so Cleveland could have a hard time passing Oweh up if he's still on the board at No. 26.
