When the Detroit Lions drafted Penei Sewell with the No. 7 overall pick in this year's draft, they knew what they were getting: The best offensive tackle in college football and a player that brings immediate starting potential.

One thing that Lions fans didn't realize they were getting with the newest first-round draft pick was someone with a unique ability for words. The Lions have plenty of that with head coach Dan Campbell, who is known for speaking his mind and never mincing his words.

On Wednesday, Sewell channeled his inner Campbell with an epic quote about returning to football for the first time since his last college down at Oregon, more than two years ago.

"[Hitting the field was] like when you’re out in the desert and you take that first sip of water. To be out there again, to strap it on, to put the helmet back on again, it’s a feeling that I forgot about. It’s something that I’ve been craving for a minute that I didn’t know I was craving.”

Comparing a return to the football field to finding a first sip of water when out in the desert is a beautiful example of symbolism. Not many people would be able to draw such a unique and successful comparison.

Campbell, as we all know, is known for his own epic quotes. His quote about Sewell, dating back to this past spring, made you want to run through a wall. It looks like Sewell is learning a thing or two from Campbell and not just on the field.
