After getting drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, New England Patriots wideout N'Keal Harry hasn't gotten off to the quickest of starts in his pro football career. Through two seasons, Harry's managed just 14 starts, 45 receptions, 4 touchdowns and 414 receiving yards.

These are majorly disappointing marks for a first-round pick. The pressure for Harry is certainly mounting in New England as a report recently surfaced that he'll be competing just for a roster spot on the 2021 Patriots.

New England Patriots News

The Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan reported these rumors first and this is troubling news for Harry. New England did select one wideout in the 2021 NFL Draft in addition to adding veteran options in free agency in Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne. According to Callahan, Harry will have to win a roster spot over second-year wideouts Isaiah Zuber and Kristian Wilkerson.

Overall, the Harry draft selection has been a disaster for the Patriots. Keep in mind, New England selected Harry above receivers A.J. Brown, Deebo Samuel and DK Metcalf from the same draft.

Right now, the Patriots are favored not to make the NFL Playoffs (-154), according to the latest NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook. We'll see if Harry starts the 2021 season in New England or if he finds himself on another team.
