Patrick Queen Announces Ravens Jersey Number Change on Twitter

One of the big trends of the current NFL offseason has been players announcing jersey number changes. For the longest time, certain numbers could only be worn by players if they played a specific position. While some players aren't fans of the new rule, others are getting pretty creative with their new numbers.
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen is the latest player to announce which new number will be his calling card next season. The 28th overall pick in 2020 wore No. 48 during his rookie season, but took to his Twitter on Tuesday to announce that he'll be rolling with No. 6 going forward.

Ravens News: Patrick Queen Jersey Number
The 2021 NFL season won't be the first time that Queen will wear a single-digit number on his jersey. As a member of the LSU Tigers during his college days, the linebacker donned No. 8. Considering that number belongs to QB Lamar Jackson in Baltimore, No. 6 is the next best option.
Queen was impressive in his rookie season, starting in all 16 of the Ravens' games. When all was said and done, he finished his rookie campaign with 106 total tackles, 3.0 sacks, an interception and 2 fumble recoveries, one of which he returned for his first career touchdown. Needless to say, Queen laid a pretty good foundation to build off in his second year.
The Ravens are currently tied for having the 5th-best odds to win the Super Bowl at +1400, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. They trail only the Kansas City Chiefs (+500) and Buffalo Bills (+1200) when it comes to top championship odds in the AFC.
If Queen's new number motivates him to help Baltimore maintain or even improve these odds, you won't hear any complaints from Ravens fans next season.
