Patrick Mahomes Tweets Reaction to Dak Prescott Winning Walter Payton Award

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been busy preparing for the Super Bowl for the last two weeks, but that hasn't stopped him from being active on social media, especially when it comes to news regarding his fellow quarterbacks.
Last week, Mahomes was quick to congratulate Tom Brady on his retirement. This week, he shared a similar celebratory message for Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott.
Congrats! @dak well deserved!! https://t.co/kBr3RfRxtM

Prescott isn't retiring, of course, but he still deserves praise after receiving the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award on Thursday night. The award, which was originally established in 1970, recognizes the player who best combines philanthropy and community service with on-field performance.
The Cowboys QB is a worthy choice for the prestigious honor in both regards. Off the field, he is notoriously active in the Dallas community and has his own foundation to help people deal with adversity. On the field, he overcame an early-season injury and led the Cowboys to a playoff win.
Mahomes has already accomplished a lot in his young career, but this award is something that's still missing from his resume. He'll certainly have more time for community involvement after the Chiefs' season ends (with a win, hopefully) on Sunday.
