[The Duel will come out with a $10 parlay angle every day, tracking success on a rolling seven-day span. In the last seven days, The Duel staff has gone 3-4 in parlay bets with a +$26.25 payout differential. Overall, we're +$323.23.

Game 1: Detroit Tigers at Philadelphia Phillies (-230), 7:05 p.m. EST

The Philadelphia Phillies are starting Aaron Nola, who has struggled this season, but he could get back on track against the lowly Detroit Tigers' offense. The Tigers are only averaging 3.48 runs per game this season, which ranks No. 27 in the MLB. Additionally, Nola has a 4.30 ERA in home games this season, and a 9.35 ERA in away games, so he should be more comfortable at home here.

Game 2: Portland Trail Blazers (+164) at Denver Nuggets, 9 p.m. EST

The Portland Trail Blazers dropped Game 1, but they could rebound tonight in Game 2. The Denver Nuggets have been really inconsistent this postseason, and they barely defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 7 of their first-round series. Look for Damian Lillard, who is averaging 34.0 points per game (PPG) in the Playoffs, to carry Portland to victory in this one.
