The Green Bay Packers will face one of the top offenses in the league in the NFC Championship Game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tom Brady and the Bucs love to air it out, with weapons like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski wreaking havoc on opposing defenses.

With this matchup in mind, the Packers are considering signing a familiar face for secondary depth in Sunday's game.

Tramon Williams Green Bay Packers

Cornerback Tramon Williams could make a return to Green Bay in the conference championship, reuniting with the team that he caught on with as an undrafted free agent in 2007.

Williams spent his first eight seasons with the Packers, earning a Pro Bowl selection in 2010 and helping the team win the Super Bowl in that same year. The corner then made stops with the Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals before re-joining Green Bay from 2018-2019.

Williams registered seven appearances for the Ravens during the 2020 season, including in their Divisional Round loss to the Buffalo Bills. The team cut him after that game, though, giving him the chance to sign with a team still in the playoffs.

Re-signing Williams makes sense for the Packers, who can add a veteran familiar with their system and Super Bowl champ for their clash with the Bucs.

Green Bay is currently a 3-point favorite over Tampa Bay, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
