Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines looked poised for a breakup after going to 2-4 this season and making the wrong kind of history. Harbaugh's name was even linked to the Detroit Lions for their head-coaching opening. However, reports surfaced Thursday night that Harbaugh and Michigan are nearing a possible extension.

In response to the news, Ohio State football's Twitter account trolled their rival in a subtle way.

A like on Twitter can mean multiple things, but it's pretty clear that Ohio State is sending a message here. They seem to be thrilled that Harbaugh is returning to the conference, and who can blame them?

Harbaugh has enjoyed some success at Michigan, going 49-22 in his six years as the Wolverines' head coach, but his teams have often failed on the big stage, posting just a 1-4 record in bowl games since 2015.

If the Michigan head coach is indeed returning, it's great news for the Buckeyes. Harbaugh is 0-5 against Ohio State since taking over as Wolverines head coach, with his teams losing by 20-plus points on three occasions, which showcases Ohio State's clear dominance during the Harbaugh era.

Once a deal is finalized, Ohio State fans can rejoice that they'll get the chance to continue beating up on Harbaugh and the Wolverines.
