A coaching change doesn't seem like it will slow down the perennial contender Ohio State Buckeyes this season. In fact, they currently have +140 odds to make the 2020 College Football Playoff, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, which is the fourth-best odds in the nation.

Despite losing a number of key members of their offense, including Dwayne Haskins, Parris Campbell and Mike Weber, Ohio State still figures to have one of the best offenses in the country. Led by Heisman hopeful Justin Fields, the Buckeyes may run a faster pace on offense, which may allow them to get some of the stout Big Ten defenses out of position.

Fellow Big Ten schools Michigan and Nebraska also find themselves in the top nine favorites to make the four-team playoff, with +280 and +1400 odds, respectively. There is no love lost between Ohio State and Michigan, and if the Buckeyes hope to make another College Football Playoff, they'll most likely have to win in Ann Arbor this season.

Clemson and Alabama, at this point, resemble as close to locks as you can get for the playoff, with -750 and -235 odds to make it, respectively. Just ahead of the Buckeyes is Georgia, who currently has +130 odds to make it out of the SEC.

These odds will definitely change as the college football season rolls along, but for now, it seems we have a pretty solid picture painted of how the college football landscape will look as the season begins.
