Despite a delayed start caused by an initial and complete cancellation of the 2020 Big Ten football season earlier in August, the Ohio State Buckeyes are off to a great pace this year behind the stellar play of star quarterback Justin Fields.

While the Buckeyes are 2-0 and already rank No. 3 in the nation in the latest AP Top-25 poll, this year's team has more questions than answers on the defensive side of the ball following the departures of top talents in EDGE rusher Chase Young and cornerbacks Jeffrey Okudah and Damon Arnette. All three of them were top-20 NFL Draft picks earlier this year.

Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, those questions didn't get any clearer following the loss of starting cornerback Cameron Brown in Saturday's matchup with the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Even worse, Brown has now reportedly been ruled out for the remainder of the season after learning that his apparent Achilles injury in the fourth quarter of this past weekend's game is, in fact, a torn Achilles.

Brown was certainly a talent the Buckeyes were looking to lean on this year in the secondary behind the top returning option in Shaun Wade, and it appears as though junior CB and former 4-star recruit Sevyn Banks could be his more permanent replacement after stepping in for Brown to finish Saturday's game against Penn State.
