Odds to Win 2019 Home Run Derby Favor Brewers' Christian Yelich
By Max Staley

Following an MVP campaign in 2018, Christian Yelich has somehow been even better in 2019. Yelich is hitting .328 with 71 RBI and he's already hit an MLB-best 31 home runs on the season. He's well on the way to exceeding the 36 home runs he hit last year, which was a career high.
After such an impressive start to the season, it should come as no surprise that Yelich (+350) is the favorite to win the 2019 Home Run Derby, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Following Yelich's odds, we have Pittsburgh Pirates' slugger Josh Bell (+400). Bell has been on a tear as well, hitting 26 home runs this season (No. 2 in the NL), and knocking in an MLB-best 81 runs.
Both hitters could face some stiff competition from Alex Bregman (+950), as he's the only hitter who participated in the 2018 Home Run Derby. Bregman has already hit 23 home runs this season, and he performed decently well in the 2018 Derby, hitting 15 home runs in a first-round exit.
Two rookies, Pete Alonso (+500) and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (+600), have the third and fourth-best odds respectively. If Guerrero's practice sessions are any indication, he could be a force to be reckoned with come July 8.

While Yelich is currently the favorite, he'll likely face some stiff competition from sluggers like Bell, Alonso, Bregman and Guerrero.
