Odds to Win NFC West Favor 49ers Over Rams at FanDuel Sportsbook

The strongest division in the NFC last year was the NFC West. The Seattle Seahawks emerged as division champs, but 2021 paints a different picture with last season's last place team projected to emerge as a frontrunner, according to NFL division odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

The San Francisco 49ers (+185) are the slight favorites to win the NFC West over the Los Angeles Rams (+195). The Rams made the playoffs as a Wild Card last year and beat division-rival Seattle on the road to advance.

While the odds show the 49ers and Rams as essentially co-favorites, the division is deep again with the Seahawks win total set at 10 at FanDuel Sportsbook. That's just behind the Rams and 49ers, both set at 10.5 wins. The Arizona Cardinals win total of 8 also makes them a viable threat in the tough NFC West.

The LA Rams are also a leading favorite to win the NFC and Super Bowl with the offseason addition of QB Matthew Stafford. The Rams also had the NFL's No. 1 defense last year allowing less than 300 yards per game, and a top defensive line anchored by defensive player of the year favorite Aaron Donald.

The 49ers odds improved after drafting potential franchise QB Trey Lance in April. Lance is showing his duel-threat abilities early in training camp as he battles QB Jimmy Garoppolo for the starting job.
