Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb enjoyed his best game of the year in Week 9 before a positive COVID-19 test knocked him from availability in Week 10.

However, the Browns received some great news around Chubb's status on Friday and it will have an impact for fantasy managers.

Nick Chubb COVID Update

Cleveland officially activated Chubb off the COVID Reserve list and he's on track to play against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Nick Chubb Fantasy Outlook

Fantasy managers should immediately place Chubb back into their starting lineups, especially with a favorable matchup against the Lions' awful run defense.

It's been another terrific season for the Browns stud, who ranks as RB17 despite missing three games with various ailments. Chubb averages 17.3 PPR points per game, a top-12 mark among running backs and leads the league with an insane 6.0 yards per rush.

It's no surprise, but the winless Lions do not possess an intimidating front seven. Detroit ranks 29th in Football Outsiders' rush-defense DVOA metric, allowing 135.7 rushing yards per game and the second-most PPR points to opposing backs.

As is the case every week, Chubb has an opportunity to post true RB1 numbers in Week 11.
