The 2021 NFL Draft is less than two weeks and fans are excited to see who gets drafted in the first round.

This year's draft class doesn't have many running backs that are projected to be selected in Round 1. As it stands, FanDuel Sportsbook has put the over/under for running backs drafted in the first round at 0.5. They're favoring the over at -225, while the under sits at +175.

Considering it'll only take one running back drafted in Round 1 to hit the over, it's not surprising that oddsmakers are leaning towards the over. For comparison sake, there were three running backs taken in the first round of the 2018 draft and one taken in each of the last two years.

Keeping that in mind, there are some teams that are drafting towards the end of the first round that could use some running back help.

NFL Draft Odds 2021: Over/Under for RBs Selected in Round 1

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be drafting at No. 24 and plenty of experts have theorized them drafting a running back. They lost James Conner in free agency and the team's current top back is Benny Snell, which is less than ideal. With them also averaging a league-low 82.5 rushing yards per game in 2020, the Steelers could draft a game-changing running back in the first round.

The Jacksonville Jaguars draft right after the Steelers at No. 25. While James Robinson did a decent job at being the team's starter, his stats were actually pretty average. The Jaguars may want to draft the best player available to pair with Trevor Lawrence. If they think that's someone like Clemson's Travis Etienne or Alabama's Najee Harris, they may go with it.

We'll likely see a running back drafted in Round 1 of this year's draft. There hasn't been a draft without a running back being selected in the first since 2014. While there may not be as much talent at the position in this year's class, players like Etienne and Harris are more than deserving of a first-round selection.
