NBA Sixth Man of the Year Odds: Jordan Clarkson's Lead Fading
By FairwayJay

Jordan Clarkson's lead is shrinking, but he's still a strong favorite to win the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award. Per NBA futures odds at FanDuel Sportsbook, the Utah Jazz guard is now -380 to win the award. Jazz teammate Joe Ingles is next at +600. Jalen Brunson (+950) of the Dallas Mavericks rounds out the top contenders for the award with a month left in the regular season.
Just two weeks ago, Clarkson was an overwhelming favorite to secure Sixth Man of the Year honors. His odds to win the award were -1450 then, and they still were -1150 last week. But Ingles has surged up the odds board since, going from huge longshot to +1200 a week ago to now at +600.
Brunson was also out of the picture until this week, as the Mavs reserve helped Dallas make major strides in the playoff race. The third-year guard is averaging career highs of 12.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists while also shooting a strong 52% from the floor.
Clarkson is averaging a career-high 17.2 points along with 3.9 rebounds per game in his second season with the Jazz. Ingles is shooting 52.1% from the floor and an impressive 48.7% from 3-point range while scoring 12.0 points per game and adding 4.2 assists and 3.6 rebounds.
