The 2021 NBA regular season concludes this week, and the MVP race is essentially decided. Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (-1900) is the runaway leader in the MVP odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Less than a month ago, the Most Valuable Player race was tight with the 26-year-old Jokic holding a slight lead over Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid. But late-season injuries have hampered MVP resumes for Embiid and LeBron James, who was the favorite back in February.

Jokic is currently averaging 26.5 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game for the Nuggets, who have 45 wins and the fourth-best record in the Western Conference. He's recording career highs in points, assists and has matched his career best in rebounds.

Embiid has helped lead the 76ers (47-22) to the best record in the Eastern Conference while averaging 29.2 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. Philadelphia is battling the NBA championship favorite Brooklyn Nets for the top playoff seed in the East.

Here's a look at FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA MVP odds as the regular season comes to a close.
