Monday Night Football Fantasy

A battle between two AFC West rivals is set to take place on Monday Night Football as the Las Vegas Raiders travel to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Chargers slated as 3-point favorites in a game that is expected to come down to the wire.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 4 AFC showdown.

Darren Waller Fantasy

Start Darren Waller, Tight End, Las Vegas Raiders: It's not hard to tell that tight end Darren Waller is the best offensive weapon that the Las Vegas Raiders have on the roster. The explosive playmaker has now seen a team-high 33 targets over the first three games and turned them into 224 receiving yards. Keep in mind that Waller is also tied for the team lead in red zone targets (7). He currently ranks as the TE4 in PPR scoring and now faces a Chargers' defense that just gave up over 100 receiving yards to Travis Kelce in Week 3. The sixth-year pro should have no trouble keeping his momentum rolling on Monday night.

Mike Williams Fantasy

Start Mike Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers: Fantasy managers rostering Mike Williams need to keep starting him until the wheels fall off. The Chargers' wide receiver has racked up at least 7 receptions, 82 yards and 1 touchdown in every game this season. That kind of production is unheard of in fantasy football. Williams has been known to be a deep threat, but the career-high 71.0% catch rate on a career-low average depth of target (aDOT) he has posted in 2021 shows how versatile his skill set is. While the Raiders have been shutting down receivers all season, Williams has shown no reason to bench him at this point.

Henry Ruggs Fantasy

Sit Henry Ruggs, WR, Las Vegas Raiders: The Chargers' defense has simply been superb at defending the pass in 2021. They are allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers and have given up just 1 touchdown to the position this year. That spells bad news for Henry Ruggs, a wide receiver that relies on getting open deep down the field. Ruggs' targets have gone up as of late, but he has yet to play in over 67% of the offensive snaps in any game this season. His role is not big enough to be matchup-proof, which makes him a bench candidate in Week 4.

Justin Herbert Fantasy

Sit Justin Herbert, QB, Los Angeles Chargers: Second-year quarterback Justin Herbert has been a borderline QB1 so far, but faces a tough task in Week 4. The Raiders have given up the 11th-fewest fantasy points to opposing QBs and have allowed just 2 passing touchdowns all season (No. 1 in NFL). It's notable to point out that they have been burned by mobile signal-callers. However, Herbert has racked up just 27 rushing yards through the first three weeks. It's difficult to see him balling out against a team that has posted the 12th-best pass defense DVOA rating.
