Even with the return of major sports, the UFC is going to hog the spotlight on Saturday night with a UFC 252 card that is headlined by a huge Heavyweight championship bout between Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier.
A big UFC card means big fantasy UFC contests this week, so let's look at who are the best plays on the card.
UFC 252 Fantasy Picks
1. Daniel Cormier (vs. Stipe Miocic)
Daniel Cormier won the first fight between these two before losing the rematch. Even in that loss, however, he landed 181 significant strikes — the most ever in a UFC Heavyweight fight. This is an incredible even matchup (with Cormier sitting as a slight favorite), and that kind of elite striking output gives him massive fantasy upside this week.
2. Virna Jandiroba (vs. Felice Herrig)
Virna Jandiroba shouldn't have too much trouble with Felice Herrig this week. Herrig is coming off a long injury layoff, and she hasn't won a fight since 2017. Jandiroba landed 3 takedowns and recorded 3 submission attempts in just over six minutes in her last fight, and that aggressive grappling style translates well to fantasy scoring.
3. Ashley Yoder (vs. Livinha Souza)
You'll need some underdogs to round out your lineup, and Ashley Yoder is way under priced. On FanDuel, she is tied for the third-lowest salary among all fighters. That comes despite the fact that she is just a +134 underdog on FanDuel Sportsbook, while everyone else priced equal or below her is at least a +235 underdog. With a salary this low you really just need your fighter to score a win bonus, and that's something that Yoder has a great shot at doing.
