Terrence Ross Injury Update
Ross missed Orlando's last seven games with a sore knee and the Magic went 2-5 straight up but 5-2 against the spread in his absence.
The Magic have the third-worst record in the league at 15-31, and FanDuel Sportsbook currently lists them as an 11-point underdog in the matchup.
Los Angeles has drawn some sharp money after opening as a 10-point favorite in the matchup. It doesn't hurt that they've won and covered each of their last five games against Orlando. Clippers' backers are likely aware of that, in addition to their 28-20 ATS (58.3%) this season. As for the Magic, they're 23-22-1 ATS (51.1%) in 2020-21.
Ross's average of 16.0 points per game could certainly be of use to the Magic, but he could be a bit rusty given his time out of the lineup.
He'll also need to get acclimated with several new faces on the Magic roster. Orlando was one of the busiest teams at the trade deadline after agreeing to move on from Nikola Vucevic, Evan Fournier, and Aaron Gordon. It'll be interesting to see if those new players choose to defer to Ross as he's been able to average roughly 26 fantasy points per game this season with a 24.4% usage rate.
