Lamar Jackson Fantasy Output on Monday Night Football Sets Another Record in Potential MVP Season

Now the odds-on favorite to win the NFL MVP award in his first season as a full-time starter, Lamar Jackson's dominance in fantasy football has arguably been even more impressive than what he's accomplishing on the real football field.
Most games with 30+ fantasy points by a quarterback in a season all-time:

2. Steve Young 1994, Tom Brady 2007, Peyton Manning 2013, Drew Brees 2013, Cam Newton 2015 (5)
Lamar Jackson Fantasy Points
We're only through 12 weeks, and already Jackson has dropped 30-plus fantasy points more times than any other quarterback has done in a 16-game season. He's up to 306.6 fantasy points through 11 games played, with the next-highest mark for a QB being Russell Wilson at 250.6 points.
Jackson's 27.9 fantasy points per game put him solidly ahead of the pace Patrick Mahomes set during his 50-touchdown campaign last year (26.1), and that puts him on pace for the highest-ever average for a QB.
This production comes with not only elite passing numbers (2,427 yards and a league-leading 24 TDs on 200-of-299 passing), but with running back-type numbers on the ground. His 876 yards and six touchdowns give him 123.6 fantasy points with his legs alone, which would rank 12th among running backs in standard scoring leagues.

The leader in the clubhouse for the NFL MVP award is also a no-brainer pick as the QB1 in fantasy football for the rest of the season. However, Jackson does check in at QB2 in our Week 13 fantasy football rankings as he draws a brutal matchup in a potential Super Bowl preview against the San Francisco 49ers. But there's no denying his status as the top QB right now, as he heads toward the most productive fantasy campaign we've ever seen at the position.
