Kyle Shanahan Shares Incredibly Optimistic Update on Raheem Mostert & Deebo Samuel's Latest Injury Status

To say the San Francisco 49ers have had a rough go of it when it comes to injury issues this season might be the understatement of the year.
Whether it's been the loss of Nick Bosa, Solomon Thomas, George Kittle, Jimmy Garoppolo, Brandon Aiyuk or Raheem Mostert, the list of missing playmakers on both sides of the ball for the defending NFC Champions has been nothing short of ridiculous.
However, 49ers fans finally got some positive news on the injury front from head coach Kyle Shanahan this Friday, which was a much-needed boost to a fanbase hurting for something optimistic.
Shanahan says RB Raheem Mostert (ankle) and WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring) have a chance at returning next week against the Saints. #49ers

While, of course, this doesn't bring back the starting QB or even game-changing TE in Kittle's talent, a potential return for starting RB Mostert and WR Deebo Samuel would be a huge help to backup QB Nick Mullens.
Perhaps, if anything, this news should come as a welcome update for both Mostert and Samuel's fantasy managers as well, despite the remaining season outlook for the 4-5 49ers.
Even though San Francisco had a poor showing the 34-17 loss they look to the Green Bay Packers Thursday night, the good news here is a extended break until next Sunday's matchup with the New Orleans Saints in Week 10 equals a greater shot to get one or both of these offensive playmakers back on the field.
