Kliff Kingsbury Leveraged Relationship With Sean McVay to Get IG Model on Field Before Game

If you've ever had a strong crush on someone, you know what it's like to want to do anything you can to impress them. Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury certainly knows what that's like, which was revealed by NFL reporter Peter Schrager on The Pat McAfee Show this week.
Schrager told the story about how he had Kingsbury and Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay on his podcast recently. He went on to add that Kingsbury hit up McVay before a Cardinals-Rams Week 17 clash a few years ago for two on-field passes. It turns out that the Cardinals coach wanted to use the passes to impress a European Instagram model that he had been talking to. The story is absolutely as hilarious as it sounds.

The fact that Kingsbury wanted to impress the model to the point where he asked McVay for on-field passes is nothing short of legendary. You would think that being a coach in the NFL would be enough to woo someone, but, clearly, Kingsbury wanted to take it up a notch. Fortunately for him, it looks like McVay came through.
Divisional rivals, the Cardinals and Rams will once again meet twice next season. The first game will be a Los Angeles home game on October 3, followed by Arizona hosting a head-to-head matchup on December 13. Regardless of when each game happens, it'll be interesting to see if Kingsbury will ask McVay for another favor or if the Cardinals coach will have to pay his friend back.
