New York Jets fans have some reason to be excited heading into 2020. This is a young team that was without their starting quarterback for a few games and still went 7-9 in 2019.

Sam Darnold could take another step forward in 2020, and Jets fans have to feel pretty insulted by the early odds that have come out on FanDuel Sportsbook for their regular-season matchups.

There has been a spread and moneyline set for 15 of the Jets' 16 2020 regular season matchups. The NFL schedule isn't out yet, but every opponent for every team is already decided.

The Jets are only favored in three of these 15 games, and two of the three have them favored by just 1.0. They're -4.5 in their home game against the Miami Dolphins, but even against the division's worst team the Jets are 1.5-point underdogs for the matchup that will be played in Miami.

Making things even worse, most of their losses are not even projected to be competitive. They're at least 6.5-point underdogs in eight games.

The lone game without a spread is their matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders. That's a home game for the Jets, so there is some hope that it's one more in which they'll be favored. Even still, that would bring the grand total up to four games as favorites, which can't feel good for a fanbase that is likely expecting their team to improve on its 2019 win total.
