Wingspan: 6' 10"

Age: 20 From the NBA Draft Combine: Sat down with Jarrett Culver and broke down why he reminds me a bit of DeMar DeRozan. Not quite as explosive/physical at the same age but some similarities in terms of a 6-6 shot-creating guard who likes to operate in mid-range spots. pic.twitter.com/V4qSOipGR8

Jarrett Culver Stats
After a solid freshman season in 2017, Jarrett Culver emerged as a bonafide star for the Red Raiders as a sophomore in the 2018-19 season. Culver finished last season averaging 18.5 points per game (PPG), 6.4 rebounds per game (RPG) while shooting 46.1 percent from the floor.
The Texas Tech product is excellent with the ball in his hands, capable of creating space to shoot as well as possessing the floor vision necessary to succeed at the NBA level. Culver's biggest selling point, though, is his defensive ability, having played in an NBA-style defensive system with the Red Raiders.
Culver isn't without his weaknesses, however. While he's a good athlete, the Texas Tech product isn't overly explosive, which could lead to separation struggles at the next level. He could also stand to improve from beyond the arc, making just 30.4 percent of his three-point attempts last year.

Jarrett Culver NBA Draft Predictions
Los Angeles Lakers (No. 4), Cleveland Cavaliers (No. 5)
The Los Angeles Lakers are an absolute mess both on and off the court right now, but adding Jarrett Culver to the mix could help fix at least one of those problems. Culver could also provide LA with solid defensive support to pair with LeBron James.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have a solid enough frontcourt in Larry Nance, Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson, so targeting a guard in the draft would make plenty of sense here. As a solid two-way defensive player with high upside at the next level, Culver could be the best pick available at No. 5 for Cleveland.
