Miles Sanders' use, or lack thereof, has been a source of frustration for fantasy football managers over the past few years. However, it's not just armchair experts that believe the running back should be fed more.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts spoke out over Sanders' usage following the team's Week 3 loss.
Hurts said following the 41-21 defeat against the Dallas Cowboys that Sanders has "got to get his" for the team to compete. It wasn't a shot at Sanders for not producing. Rather, he was calling out the Eagles for not giving the RB more of a role.
Hurts' comments come on the heels of Sanders seeing just 2 carries against the Cowboys. He was productive with this touches, averaging 13.5 yards per attempt, though the team was forced to air it out after getting down big.
Sanders has racked up back-to-back seasons of 1,000 yards from scrimmage, so he's more than capable of shouldering the load. However, the Eagles potentially playing catch-up against opponents all season will play a huge role in determining the lead back's involvement in the run game going forward.
