The 2022-23 season has been a tough one thus far for LaMelo Ball. The young star guard injured his ankle in training camp that caused him to miss the start of the season, he then quickly re-injured himself. This has all equaled Ball playing in just three games so far this season.
LaMelo Ball Injury Update
After 11 games of being out with a left ankle sprain, Ball has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Ball is reportedly hopefully he can make his return to the court on Wednesday.
Ball was off to anohter solid start this season, depsite his innjuries. Granted it's only a three-game sample size, but he was averaging 19.3 PPG, 7.0 APG and 3.7 RPG.
Getting Ball back in the lineup will be huge for the Hornets. He is considered their best player and the foundation to the future of the franchise. The cautious approach they have taken with him has been wise, but sitting at 7-20 on the season and in second to last place in the conference standings, Charlotte is drowning without him.
