Oddsmakers are having a really hard time envisioning the defending champion Golden State Warriors getting bounced in the first round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Warriors are astronomical favorites at -20000 to advance to the second round over the eighth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs.

The rest of the first-round series odds are far tighter, with the next-most favored option being the No. 4 seed Houston Rockets at -300 over the No. 5 seed Utah Jazz. The Rockets and Jazz split their regular-season series, 2-2.

The No. 2 seed Denver Nuggets also split the regular-season series with their first-round opponent, the No. 7 seed San Antonio Spurs. The Nuggets are -240 favorites to win the series, but it's hard to ever count out Gregg Popovich and the Spurs (+190).

However, one matchup that doesn't line up with the seeding is the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Portland Trail Blazers series.

The No. 5-seeded Thunder (-148) are favored over the No. 4 -seeded Trail Blazers (+122), likely in part to OKC pulling off a 4-0 regular-season sweep of their Western Conference rival.

The Western Conference Playoffs tip off on Saturday night with the Warriors taking on the Clippers at 8 p.m. EST, so be sure to get in your first-round series bets before then.
