Fantasy Picks for the PGA Tour Travelers Championship

Following Gary Woodland's 2019 U.S. Open win, the PGA Tour moves on to Connecticut for the Travelers Championship. For a tournament the week following a major, the Travelers has a pretty solid list of names competing.
Let's take a look at some golfers to consider when putting together your fantasy lineup this week for the annual tournament at the TPC River Highlands course.

Jordan Spieth
Jordan Spieth had one of the most incredible finishes in PGA Tour history here when he chipped in for the win in 2017. Spieth has also been playing improved golf as of late, after, by his standards, slumping for much of the past two years. If he can bring back some of those magic memories, paired with continued improved play, you might see Spieth atop the leaderboard on Sunday.
Bubba Watson
Bubba Watson is also a past winner of the Travelers Championship, winning it three times, including last year. Some people believe the course sets up better naturally for lefties, which could explain Watson's continued success at the Travelers. Although Watson hasn't been playing well this season, this tournament might be the best thing to get him back on track.
Paul Casey
Paul Casey, like Watson, has experienced great success on this course, having never missed the cut at the Travelers. Additionally, he's been playing great golf this season, already garnering five top-10 finishes, which includes a win at the Valspar Championship, a tournament that has seen a ton of crossover success with the Travelers. Casey is 14th in driving accuracy on tour and third in eagles per hole, two things that could help him a ton at what is the second-shortest course on on PGA Tour, trailing only Pebble Beach.
This is the list of golf stars who you will see in #Hartford.

Tony Finau
Tony Finau may have flopped at the U.S. Open, by missing the cut, but he's had an overall excellent year of golf in 2019. He has three top-10 finishes, including two runner-ups. Like Casey, Finau has never missed the cut at the Travelers. So despite missing back-to-back cuts, Finau could get back on track on a course that he's historically played very well at.
