Fantasy Golf Picks This Week for Workday Charity Open PGA Tournament at Muirfield Golf Club

Golf Picks This Week
The PGA Tour is heading into its fifth tournament since returning from the break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This week, we turn our attention to the Workday Charity Open at Muirfield Golf Club Dublin, Ohio.
With a strong field of players heading into this weekend's tournament, let's take a look at three players to watch out for when putting together your fantasy team.
The PGA Tour reverses its previous plan and will not allow spectators at the Memorial Tournament next week in Dublin, Ohio, because of “rapidly changing dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic”https://t.co/JF9FMjDq9h pic.twitter.com/ZS75SlWEsc

PGA Fantasy Picks
Justin Thomas
The favorite to win the entire tournament, according to FanDuel Sportsbook (at +1400), Justin Thomas is coming off a disappointing week in which he missed the cut at the Travelers Championship. He had top-10 finishes in each of his first two events in June, however, and he has top-10 finishes in two of his last three outings at Muirfield Village GC, where this event is taking place. He also took home a win at Muirfield in 2010.
Hideki Matsuyama
A strong approach game is key on this course, and that's always good news for Hideki Matsuyama. He ranks sixth on the tour in strokes gained (SG): approach the green, as well as 15th in SG: around-the-green. A notoriously shaky putter, that flaw isn't as big a deal at this course as it can be elsewhere.
Marc Leishman
Through 30 rounds this tour season, Marc Leishman leads all golfers in SG: approach the green, while also ranking 19th in SG: tee-to-green. He doesn't have the around-the-green game that Matsuyama does (184th on tour), but that strong approach makes him an interesting fantasy golf value pick this week.
