Week 9 of head-to-head fantasy baseball is upon us and if you haven't done so already, you should start making a few crucial adjustments to your roster.

Whether they're on a hot streak or finally turning the corner, there are a few players still available on the waiver wire that should give your fantasy team high-end production this week.

With that in mind, here are five players you should consider picking up off the waiver wire for Week 9 of the fantasy baseball season.

1. Miguel Sano, 1B/3B/DH, Minnesota Twins

His .250 batting average on the year isn't going to impress anyone, but Miguel Sano is absolutely tearing the cover off the ball right now. The 26-year-old slugger owns an unreal 1.428 OPS with five homers and eight RBI in his last 19 at-bats. Sano is available in 51 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues, so pick him up on the coin-flip chance he's available, especially if you need power at the corners.

2. Dansby Swanson, SS, Atlanta Braves

Dansby Swanson is finally living up to his top-prospect billing this season, but he's really turned things on over the past week or so. The 25-year-old shortstop is batting .370 with three homers, six RBI and a stolen base over his last 27 at-bats. Swanson is available in 47 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues right now, so pick him up while you still can, especially if you need a solid source of steals going forward.

3. Kevin Kiermaier, OF, Tampa Bay Rays

Kevin Kiermaier is known primarily for his amazing defense, but he's been swinging one of the hottest bats in the majors lately. The 29-year-old outfielder is batting .316 with three homers and seven RBI over his last 19 at-bats. Kiermaier is readily available in 89 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues and definitely worth adding if you're in need of outfield depth.

4. Lance Lynn, SP, Texas Rangers

Lance Lynn hasn't been the most consistent fantasy pitcher this season, but he's currently on a run of form that fantasy baseball players need to take advantage of while they can. The 32-year-old righty owns a 1.93 ERA and 0.93 WHIP with 16 strikeouts over his last two starts (14 innings). Lynn is available in 78 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues and is worth an add for those in need of an extra start or two.

5. Sergio Romo, RP, Miami Marlins

Sergio Romo has seen his fantasy stock skyrocket lately thanks to an excellent run of form by the Miami Marlins and is definitely worth an add for those in serious need of save production. The 36-year-old closer owns a 1.50 ERA with seven strikeouts over his last five appearances (six innings), three in which he recorded a save. Romo is available is 60 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues.
