FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines

With the new PGA Tour season in full swing, PGA Tour pros are heading to California for the Farmers Insurance Open at the famed Torrey Pines.
Let's take a look at some golfers to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.
Farmers Insurance Open Fantasy
Jon Rahm:
There is good reason Jon Rahm is the favorite here: He has dominated at Torrey Pines in his career thus far. In his five career appearances at this event, he has placed in the top seven in four of them, top five in three of them and even won the event in 2018. He's only played in two events so far in 2022, but he has had two solid showings, grabbing a 2nd-place finish and a T-14. Rahm's length here should be beneficial, where he ranks No. 7 on tour, and when you pair that with his ball-striking, he is No. 7 on tour in Greens in Regulation (GIR).
Tony Finau:
Tony Finau comes into this event in a similar spot to Rahm. He has four top-six finishes and five top-13 finishes in his last five starts here. He's never finished worse than 24th in seven starts at this event. In terms of recent form, Finau has a top-20 and top-10 finish in his last three starts. While he dipped a bit last week at The American Express to T-40, Torrey Pines should solves any worries around Finau. He's comfortable and successful here.
Patrick Reed:
Patrick Reed struggled at Torrey Pines to begin his career, but he's gotten into form in recent years. His last three starts at this even brought finishes of 13th (2019), 6th (2020), and a win last year in 2021. He limped to a T-55 finish last week at The American Express, but he finished T-15 and T-3 in his two events prior to that. His ball-striking and driving accuracy will have to be on point this week to retain his title, but he's proven that not only does his game work here when he's swinging right, it wins here.
