After just a handful of weeks off, the PGA Tour is set to start a new season this week at the Fortinet Championship.

Understandably, the field in this first event isn't the most impressive, but there are still plenty of well-known names teeing it up in Napa, CA.

With this in mind, let's take a look at three guys to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.

Fortinet Championship 2022 Fantasy Picks

Hideki Matsuyama Fantasy

Hideki Matsuyama had an up-and-down last season, but he should start this one on a high note. First, he ended last season on a high note at the Tour Championship a few weeks ago, coming away with a T11. He also has a top-20 and two top-10 finishes in his four career starts at the Silverado Resort and Spa North Course. With a fairly weak field overall, expect Matsuyama to be in contention all week.

Cam Davis Fantasy

Cam Davis ended last season on a big run of five top-20 finishes in his final six events. He also had five top-10 finishes last season combined. Although he hasn't played much at Silverado, He's made the cut in two of three appearances and does have a top-20 finish. Davis also gained strokes in all six major categories.

Emiliano Grillo Fantasy

Emiliano Grillo had some rough patches last season, at one point missing five consecutive cuts. However, he was able to end the season strong, grabbing two second-place finishes in his last five starts, adding in another top-20 finish in that span. When it comes to Silverado, yes, he's missed the cut two of the last three years, but he's also a former winner at this course in 2016 and has three additional top-30 finishes overall in seven starts.
