Wells Fargo Championship 2022 Fantasy Picks
Keegan Bradley Fantasy
Keegan Bradley comes into this event on a solid run, Grabbing back-to-back top-10 finishes and three in his last five starts. He also has played this course once before as a professional and he then came away with a top-five finish. Bradley ranks Top-30 on tour in Strokes Gained (SG): Off-The Tee (29th), Approach The Green (24th), Tee-To-Green (10th), and Total (29th). While Bradley ha struggled with the short stick. he's done a good job of avoiding three-putts this season. If he can knock a couple more putts down, we could see him not only compete, but win.
Marc Leishman Fantasy
Marc Leishman has been incredibly consistent this season, missing only one cut in his 13 official tour events. He has improved his finishing position every week in the three weeks since that missed cut. Leishman has turned a strong short game into success, ranking 23rd on tour in SG: Total. Furthermore, Leishman has two starts on this course as a professional, more than most others in the event. He finished T-13 and T-5 respectively in those two starts.
Rory McIlroy Fantasy
Rory McIlroy comes into this event as both the defending champion and the favorite. While he doesn't have any professional rounds on TPC Potomac, McIlroy has enjoyed a good season so far. He has only missed one cut, has only finished outside the top-20 one time, has three top-five finishes, which include a win and a second-place finish. McIlroy's talent is the reason he's the favorite here, and after seeing Jon Rahm come away with the win last week as a heavy favorite, it's easy to imagine the same fro MCIlroy here.
