The Atlanta Falcons have been struggling to get anything going on offense, suffering back-to-back blowout losses. The team recently got an injury update on offensive weapon Cordarrelle Patterson, which lists him as a true game-time decision against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12.

Cordarrelle Patterson Injury Update

Patterson was unable to suit up in Week 11 due to an ankle injury and his presence was sorely missed. The Falcons mustered up just 198 total yards of offense and averaged a disappointing 2.5 yards per carry. In fact, Atlanta has not scored a single point with Patterson out the past six quarters.

The four-time Pro Bowler is in the midst of a breakout season and is on pace to shatter his career-high marks across the board. Overall, Patterson has racked up 303 rushing yards on 77 carries and 478 receiving yards on 39 receptions. He also leads the team with 7 touchdowns in 9 games played.

Atlanta fans need to keep an eye on how Patterson looks during pre-game warmups before getting their hopes up. Fortunately, the 30-year-old has been adamant that he feels much better than he did last week. That is good news given he has been labeled as questionable throughout the last week.

Getting the versatile pro back would be a huge boost, but it is no guarantee at this point. The Falcons will look to bounce back going up against a Jaguars' defense that has posted the fourth-worst total DVOA rating in the NFL.
