The end of the regular season has prompted plenty of questions regarding Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley. Fans are worried the wideout may have already played his last game in Atlanta, and recent trade rumors haven't helped quell any fears.

Calvin Ridley News

Falcons GM Terry Fontenot provided an update on Ridley's situation in his end-of-the-year press conference.

Calvin Ridley Return

Fontenot revealed that nothing has really changed in regards to the receiver's status. The organization is simply focused on providing all of the support it can, which involves giving Ridley all the time he needs to focus on his mental health.

Ridley was a surprise scratch from Atlanta's Week 5 contest, and he returned in Week 7, but shortly after that game, he announced that he needed to step away from football. Some have speculated that the former Alabama star is ready to move on from the Falcons, but there's been no concrete info to back up that claim.

Atlanta seems committed to helping its pass-catcher in any way possible, which is great news. Hopefully, Ridley can rejoin the team at some point this offseason.
