The Miami Dolphins remain a mystery regarding their strategy with the No. 6 pick in the draft. They've already traded down from No. 3 and have toyed with the idea of moving down again or or even up. Tuesday's trade of guard Ereck Flowers seemed to indicate that Penei Sewell could be the team's top target.

Yet the trade may not have any impact at all on who the Dolphins want.

Dolphins Draft Rumors

One source with knowledge of the situation would be "stunned" if Sewell is Miami's top pick. It seems the Dolphins are content with the offensive line options they have on the roster after Flowers' departure. Solomon Kindley can slot in as at left guard and Robert Hunt at right guard.

Miami stilll needs to address right tackle, though they can find a solution in free agency.

It seems Miami has already done a ton of planning around how their O-line will look in front of Tua Tagovailoa, so they don't need to take Sewell if he falls.

The Cincinnati Bengals at No. 5 make a ton of sense as a Sewell destination, but they're also interested in star wideout Ja'Marr Chase, who has been a rumored Dolphins target. If Cincy takes Chase and Kyle Pitts is off of the board, it's possible Miami trades back rather than taking a player they don't covet.

What Miami actually does in the first round is one of the most intriguing storylines heading into draft night.
